The Atlanta chapter of the St. Hugh’s Past Students Association, better known as St. Hugh’s High School Alumnae Association has been in operation for approximately 16 years. It was conceived one balmy summer evening in 1990 at the kitchen table of our esteemed past principal, Dr. Inez Carnegie, as she and past students Flavia Gunter, Audrey Lindsay and Hope Bolden sipped tea and shared cookies and fond memories of bygone days. Annette Stewart accepted an award from KCOBA president, Glen Laman, on behalf of her sister-in-law Calys Stewart. Jennifer Collins' son, Cory, recently graduated from Long Island University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance.

Science Teacher Honored by Westlake High
St. Hugh's High School past student and Woodland Middle School Science teacher, Lavern Chen-Laman received an award in a program honoring Influential teachers at Westlake High School on April 16, 2008. Read More>> Feed the Homeless
Our Feed the Homeless community service project was held near the downtown Atlanta Bus Depot on Saturday, March 22, 2008. Food, drink and personal items were distributed to the homeless. Free HIV screening was also provided by Our Common Welfare Prevention Services.Thanks to all who came out: Sharon Marks, Joy Pink, Audrey Lindsay, Lavern Laman, Paulette Haase, Tonya Diaz, Karen Randall, Marcia Daley, Annette Scott and Mildred.
